Scott and Stuart Gentling were twin brothers and celebrated artists based in Fort Worth, Texas. They were known for their meticulous portrayal of birds, landscapes, and historical scenes. Their work combines an exceptional eye for detail with a poetic reverence for nature, drawing comparisons to John James Audubon.

The original watercolor paintings, of the prints found here, are located at the Amon Carter Museum in Fort Worth, Texas where the Gentling Study Center also resides.
